Legal Privilege and Sensitive Personal Data Redaction
A document which is privileged should not be disclosed to the other party. Normally, a privileged document will be so due to either a ‘legal advice privilege,’ meaning that it contains communication and evidence of communication between the client and its lawyer, or a ‘litigation privilege’ which means that they were created for the purpose of legal proceedings. Likewise with documents which contain sensitive personal data should also not be disclosed to the other party. We will do the necessary redaction to these documents relevant to the case.
